Fun Weekend!

This weekend my mom and I went to get pedicures. (They were awesome!) We also brought Brooke and got her toe nails painted! It was so cute with her sitting in my lap, watching her look down at the water where my feet were. I just know she was thinking, "man, I wish I was in there!" We also took her to get her ears pierced! She did cry, but she got over it so fast! She's a tough little cookie. :) Grandma and I then walked to Children's Place where Grandma spoiled her with some new clothes, hat and sunglasses! She was rockin' her new look at church on Sunday! Tyler Kai at 19 Weeks!

He’s healthy and growing just as he should be! We are so excited that we know for sure we are having a boy!

Update on Tyler Kicking

I just started feeling Tyler kick a lot more today. It's the coolest feeling in the world to be reminded throughout the day that this miracle that God put in there is moving all around! I can't wait until Daddy can start feeling it too!

Brooke's New Favorite Thing

Brooke's new favorite thing is to throw her head back when you are holding her. It's so cute!!! After she throws herself backward, Casey or I will tickle her until we hear her giggle! Then as soon as we pick her up, she throws herself back again! Fun times for Mommy, Daddy and Brooke!

Tooth #2 is Here!

Brooke has another tooth that just broke through the gums!  She looks so cute!  She’s going to love to eat more grown up food!  But, watch out!  She wants to bite on everything including your finger if you are feeling her teeth! 

 

Feeling Tyler Kick

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and I'm starting to feel Tyler kick! I missed those days when I would feel Brooke move all around, so I'm glad Tyler is big enough now. It's still not all the time, but I'm sure as he continues to grow I will feel him even more dancing around in there!

I go back to the doctor on March 31st for another ultrasound. Hopefully, we will confirm it will be a boy!

Big Hugs and Kisses

One of the best feelings is when Brooke gives me big hugs and kisses! Sometimes when I'm holding her she gets so excited, puts her arms around my neck and squeezes! Other times she just opens her mouth up really big (definitely my child) and plants it on my cheek. I just love those sloppy kisses!

Following Footsteps

This is the guitar that Casey's dad would play for him when he was a baby. Now, Casey plays it to Brooke and she loves it!

It's Awesome to Watch...

Yesterday, Casey, Brooke and I went to lunch after church. Casey and I sat in the chairs while Brooke sat in a high chair all on her own. It was awesome to watch Brooke just sit there like a big girl. She sat there just watching us take every bite and every sip of our drink. I put some queso on my fork and started for her mouth. Right when she needed to she opened her mouth and bit down on my fork. After smacking her lips a couple times she got this huge smile on her face! She loved it! She would kick her legs and beat on the table with her hands signaling me she wanted another bite. She ended up eating queso, fries, beans and guacamole and washed it down with some water from her dad. We absolutely love watching Brooke grow up and this new stage we are starting is so much fun!
